RTB = Return to Base; C&R = Collect and Return
Upgrade options may be purchased at point of sale or within the first year following the date of delivery of your system.

During the warranty period, Gateway will correct any defects in material and/or workmanship. This limited warranty only applies to Gateway-branded products and is only available to the original end-user. For accessories such as printers, scanners and cameras, please refer to the warranties that accompany those accessories.

Technical Support

  • Gateway will provide basic technical support for the hardware and operating system supplied.
  • Support is available via phone, fax, email and web.
  • Technical Support hours are: 
    • 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time), Monday to Friday

Parts

  • Parts warranty covers the base system but excluding any add-on peripherals such as printers and scanners.
  • Any replacement part orders received prior to 4:00 p.m. EST Monday to Friday will be processed same day (pending parts availability) and delivered via courier to the client's designated location. Most components will ship via next-business-day delivery.
  • Faulty parts must be returned via the provided pre-paid courier docket.

On-site Service

  • Gateway will install replacement parts in your product as necessary to correct defects covered under the limited warranty applicable to the Product.
  • On-site service is only available for your location if it is within a 50-kilometre travelling distance of a then-existing facility of Gateway or its authorised on-site service provider. Please consult your product sales representative to determine whether the on-site service is available at your location.
  • On-site parts replacement service is not available for any external peripheral, including any monitor, mouse, keyboard, joystick or speaker.
  • Onsite diagnosis and problem troubleshooting is not included in the standard onsite warranty but is available at a per incident charge.

Return to Base Service

  • Gateway offers return to base service for the correction of defects covered under the limited warranty applicable to the Product.
  • Our authorised service centres are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
  • Collect & Return is a separate service where Gateway arrange & pay for the collection, repair, and return of the product.
